The New Energy Vehicle Testing Joint Laboratory is Officially Established.

To further deepen cooperation between the university and enterprises and integrate industry with education, on March 6th, our university and China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement and jointly established the New Energy Vehicle Testing Joint Laboratory at Room 101 of Mingde Building in Liuxiandong Campus. This collaboration fully leverages the strengths of both parties to promote the high-quality development of the new energy vehicle industry. Liu Anmin, General Manager of China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd., Vice General Manager Bao Huanhuan, and our university President Xu Jianling, along with other distinguished guests, attended the signing and unveiling ceremony. The ceremony was chaired by Cui Hongwei, Associate Dean of the School of Automobile and Transportation.

In his speech, Xu Jianling expressed that the university has always adhered to the positioning of vocational education types, closely connected with the national direction and the needs of Shenzhen, leading the way in exploration, reform, and innovation, and its comprehensive strength ranks among the top similar colleges and universities in the country. The strong collaboration between SZPU and CAERI signifies that the two parties will comprehensively deepen cooperation, jointly build a leading national new energy vehicle technology major, jointly serve the new energy vehicle industrial chain in the Greater Bay Area, and jointly promote the technological standards and talent standards of the new energy vehicle industry globally, making the joint laboratory a first-class high-level talent training and application technology research base, providing more solid intellectual support and talent guarantee for the construction of Shenzhen as an international science and technology innovation center.

Liu Anmin stated that China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd., as a national first-class research institute, central enterprise, and listed company, focuses on the three major technical fields of "safety", "green", and "experience", devotes itself to automotive research and development, testing, and provides scientific and technological support for the high-quality and sustainable development of the automotive industry, promoting technological innovation in the automotive industry. The cooperation with SZPU is the result of joint efforts by both parties and a positive response to the development of the new energy vehicle industry. It is hoped that the cooperation between the two parties can effectively promote the deep integration of SZPU's automotive professional group and the new energy vehicle industry group in the Greater Bay Area, provide strong guarantee for the safety and reliability of new energy vehicles, and contribute to the development of the automotive industry.

Representatives from both parties signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement and jointly unveiled the "New Energy Vehicle Testing Joint Laboratory". The establishment of the joint experimental platform will provide a broad space for cooperation between the university and enterprises in cutting-edge technology research, talent training, product testing, standard formulation, and social services in the field of new energy vehicles, further promoting the construction of disciplines and talent training in the university and providing more solid technical support and talent guarantee for the development of Shenzhen's automotive industry.
