On November 6, the team of students from the Major of Virtual Reality Application Technology in the School of Artificial Intelligence at SZPT won the first prize in the “Mixed Reality (MR) Resource Development” segment of 2022 BRICS Skills Development and Technology Innovation Competition – BRICS Future Skills Challenge (Xiamen). This is also another international award won by the students from the major following the virtual reality design and production award in the First World Vocational College Skills Competition this year. Under the guidance of teachers Zhao Zhiqiang and Guo Jia from the School of Artificial Intelligence, team members Wu Fan and Cao Mengting overcame many difficulties brought by the epidemic, made good preparations and played steadily in the competition. They got the highest score in each test item, and won the gold medal by taking the first place of the first prize in the Mixed Reality (MR) Resource Development segment with a wide margin.
