In 2018, Shenzhen Polytechnic University initiated the project of constructing a world-class TVE college and started to establish 10 applied technology innovation institutes, 10 high-end think tanks and creative centers and 10 public technology service centers. By November 2021, it has founded 8 applied technology institutes, 9 high-end think tanks and creative centers for humanities & social sciences and 7 public technology service centers. It is preparing for a series of new institutes and public technology service centers.
