On September 24, the “Business, Finance and Taxation Integration with Big Data Application” segment of 2023 National Vocational College Skills Competition (Higher Vocational Group) came to an end inChangsha Commerce &Tourism College. As a national vocational college skills competition with the widest discipline coverage, the largest number of contestants, the greatest social influence and the most comprehensive co-sponsors, the segment hada total of 95 teams of 380 contestants from 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government. The students Zeng Xiuxia, Chen Yifang, Qiu Liting and Mo Yanxin majoring in big data and accounting from the School of Economics won the first prize in the national competition.
The segment is a composite technical skills competition which, for the first time, integrated thebusiness, finance and taxation scenarios with big data applications, implemented a scenario-based competition mode, and based on the three modules of capital, operation and management in the digital scenario, focused on checking the ability of contestants in the application of information technology to deal with business operations, scenario scheduling, resource allocation, data analysis, financial governance, tax planning, tax warning, RPA robot application, big data audit, etc. The segment accurately connects the industry, and integrates the discipline with new technology, and the industrial demand with teaching demand, helpful to realize the conversion from accounting to value management, and lead the new direction of the reform and development in respect of big data and accounting.
