OnSeptember 24-27, the “Intelligent Connected Vehicle Technology” segment of 2023 National Vocational College Skills Competition (Higher Vocational Group) was held in Tianjin Vocational Institute. A total of 60 teams from 31 provinces, autonomous regions and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps gathered in Tianjin to compete on the same stage. The SZPU team consisting of the students Zheng Angrun and Wu Zehua, led by Cui Hongwei, Vice President of School of Automotive and Transportation Engineering, and instructed by the teachers Liang Songfeng, Zeng Ziming, Li Zhanyu, Li Wugang, and Li Jianping, overcame all kinds of difficulties in 5 months of preparations and 48 hours of hard efforts, and won the first price of the third place among the 60 teams.

As a cutting-edge technology in the automobile industry, the intelligent connected vehicle was set as a segment of the competition for the first time, with the difficulty of competition and the breadth of knowledge being both large. The segment adopted a two-person team competition mode, and the competition contents were divided into two modules: intelligent connected vehicle assembly and debugging (Module A) and intelligent connected vehicle simulation and road test (Module B). The contestants were required to complete the assembly and calibration of intelligent sensors, CAN communication data reading and commissioning of wire controlled chassis, fault diagnosis and elimination, virtual simulation test, real vehicle road test and other items within the specified time.
