Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Education announced the results of the 8^th College Integrity Education Activities. The “Pengcheng Torch – Integrity Inheritance” submitted by our university was selected into the “Run Xin Hua Yu” excellent video works (a total of 100 works from colleges and universities across the country), and the “Qing Feng Run Lian” was selected into the “Qing Xin Miao Yu” excellent creative works (a total of 100 works from colleges and universities across the country). The winning works will be exhibited on Xinhuanet, National University Ideological & Political Work Net, DXS, China Education Release, and Cloud Classroom for Studying the 20^th National Congress of the CPC on the Smart Education of China.

The video production of “Pengcheng Torch – Integrity Inheritance” was initiated by the Office of Commission for Discipline Inspection of SZPU, and co-created by a team of teachers and students from the School of Communication, where 75 teachers and students of the university participated in the shooting, telling the integrity story of Zeng Sheng, a local anti-Japanese hero in Shenzhen. The work was shot within Da Peng Suo Cheng, which followed Zeng Sheng’s perspective to show the spirit of integrity and self-discipline during the process of taking root in East River Columnon the land of Pengcheng where the revolutionary forefathers fought. The posters of “Qing Feng Run Lian” were created by Chen Yongqi, a student from the School of Art and Design, based on Official Admonition, Advice to Son and Qian’s Family Motto, and combined with main objects with profound connotations such as libra, compass and bronze tripod, interspersing them with classical characters, and using visual language, with a sense of narration, to convey the connotation of integrity in the times.

It is reported that the 8^th College Integrity Education Activities weresponsored by the Ministry of Education, aimed at guiding college leaders, teachers and students to further consolidate the ideological and cultural foundation of integrity, cultivate the ethical conduct and self-discipline, and carry forward the social trend of respecting integrity and resisting corruption. After receiving the notice at the beginning of this year, SZPU responded positively, and the Office of Commission for Discipline Inspection, jointly with the School of Management, the School of Communication and the School of Art and Design, carried out the “Lian Jie Wen Yu” campus article collection, “Run Xin Hua Yu” video collection and “Qing Xin Miao Yu” creative collection activities.
