On October 24, the 5^th National Electronic Information Service Vocational Skills Competition of 2023 National Industry Vocational Skills Competition was held in Hebei Cangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. A total of 467 industry experts, enterprise workers, teachers and students from 28 provinces across the country were selected to compete on the same stage. After 18 hours of competition in three days, our teacher Cheng Lusha from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering won the championship of the teacher group with her superb technology, rich experience and stable performance in the computer programmer (integrated design and manufacturing of parts) segment. The competition committee will award the title of “National Technical Expert” after approval by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security in accordance with the competition rules.

The competition was sponsored by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. With the theme of “Becoming Skilled Talents to Serve the Country”, it was the first in the National Industry Vocational Skills Competition to adopt the mode of combining “competition, exhibition, performance and conference”, aiming to promote the model worker spirit, labor spirit and craftsman spirit, and cultivate and explore more excellent craftsmen. Among them, the computer programmer (integrated design and manufacturing of parts) segment consisted of eight modules, i.e. comprehensive ability assessment, three-dimensional data acquisition and modeling, data analysis and detection, scheme design, product internal motion mechanism design, product motion simulation design, product 3D printing and post-processing, and comprehensive quality of the player, designed to comprehensively evaluate the ability of players to design integrated structures (integrated manufacturing of parts) in combination with the characteristics of 3D print manufacturing process.
