On December 12, the opening ceremony of 2022 Thematic Workshop (V) of National “Dual-Certified” Teacher Training Base for Vocational Education host by the National Academy of Education Administration and organized by SZPT under the guidance of the Department of Teacher Affairs of the Ministry of Education (the “National Training Base”) was successfully held online.

Ren Youqun, Director General of the Department of Teacher Affairs of the Ministry of Education, made a study mobilization for the workshop in the form of video. Xu Jianling, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee & President of Shenzhen Polytechnic, said in his speech that the college will fully integrate excellent teachers inside and outside the campus, combined with education characteristics and training advantages, to ensure the completion of this training task with high quality. Professor He Zhen, Director General of the Institute of Vocational and Adult Education, Faculty of Education, Beijing Normal University, and Director General of the National Institute of Vocational Education, made a class opening report. More than 600 persons gathered together in the cloud, including representatives of lecturing experts and training teams from all over the country, as well as project leaders related managers from 25 national training bases, various provincial education teacher training bases, and core member units.

As a national “dual-certified” teacher training base for vocational education, a national teacher training base for higher vocational education, a “dual-certified” teacher training base for vocational colleges in Guangdong Province, and a specialized key teacher training base for secondary vocational schools in Guangdong Province, SZPT offers all kinds of teacher training for vocational education throughout the country. The college gives full play to our own brand and specialty advantages, and actively introduces advanced ideas, advanced methods and scientific training systems of vocational education from developed countries and regions, to provide personalized and high-level teacher training for vocational colleges across the country. Up to now, we have provided training services for managers and specialized key teachers of nearly 900 vocational colleges, covering 32 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, with an average number of 30,000 trainees per annum, giving full play to the leading role as a demonstration college.

This workshop was designed to study and implement the spirit of the 20^th CPC National Congress, accelerate the high-quality development of vocational education and “dual-certified” teachers, exemplify and lead the construction of high-quality “dual-certified” teachers, and deepen the reform and development of vocational colleges. The training lasted for 3 days from December 12 to December 14, focusing on six modules: training mobilization, policy interpretation, evaluation index of national training base construction, training project implementation, cooperative community construction, and discussion and exchange on base management and construction, conducted by means of thematic reports, experience sharing, special discussions, exchanges and expert comments. In order of course modules, Yu Zhongen, Director General of the Office of Vocational College Teacher Quality Improvement Project in Guangdong Province, Li Xinfa, Director General of the Office of National Training Project Management of Vocational College Teacher Quality Improvement Program, Qin Yihan, Person in Charge of the Studio of Training Experts for Vocational Education in Guangdong Province, Jiang Wenli, Senior Training Director of Guangdong Vocational College of Post and Telecom, Xin Xiulan, Vice President of Beijing Polytechnic, Nie Weijin, Director General of the Office of Vocational College Teacher Quality Improvement Project in Jiangsu Province, Yang Xinbin, UNESCO Chair of “Digitization of Vocational Education”, National Famous Teacher, Secretary of the Party Committee of SZPT, as well as well-known experts in vocational education and enterprise training experts were invited to make thematic reports, case analysis and discussions.
