On November 12, a delegation of 15 members led by Yan Yuangang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Zhuhai CPPCC & Executive Vice President of Fujian Association in Macau, visited our university. SZPU Vice President Li Yue had talks with the exchange delegation in Mingde Building.
On behalf of our university, Li Yue extended a warm welcome to the exchange delegation. She introduced SZPU’s running situation, focusing on the cooperation with Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan regions. She mentioned that the university has actively participated in the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, co-built the “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Vocational Education Park” with the Hong Kong Vocational Training Council, and established cooperative relations with institutions such as Macau Polytechnic University, Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau, and Macau Institute for Tourism Studies. Most of the members of the exchange delegation are representatives from the political and business circles. It is hoped that all the delegates can participate in and support the construction of SZPU, and boost the development of higher vocational education in China.
On behalf of the exchange delegation, Yan Yuangang thanked the university for its warm reception. He said that Macau is promoting diversified industrial development and needs to cooperate with top colleges universities in the Mainland to jointly train talents. The delegates come from all sectors of society, including the City University of Macau and local innovative and entrepreneurial enterprises. The association hopes to build a platform and carry out cooperation with the university to cultivate more talents for Macau’s moderately diversified economy and scientific and technological fields.
