Liu Limin, President of the China Education Association for International Exchange, Visits Shenzhen Polytechnic University for Research.
On October 23, Liu Limin, President of the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) and former Vice Minister of Education, led a delegation to Shenzhen Polytechnic University for a research visit. Party Secretary Yang Xinbin and Vice President Li Yue accompanied the delegation during the visit.
Liu and his team visited various Shenzhen Polytechnic University facilities, including the BYD School of Applied Technology, Huawei ICT Academy, Han’s Laser Industry Academy, Key Materials Research Institute for Integrated Circuits, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Specialized Vocational Education Campus, and the Greater Bay Area Institute of Artificial Intelligence Applications. They gained a detailed understanding of the college’s hands-on training, industry-education integration, applied research, and international cooperation models in talent cultivation.
Yang Xinbin highlighted the institution’s “Nine Shared Values” in education, its unique educational approach, and its strategies and practices for international exchange and cooperation. He noted that vocational education plays a pivotal role in the national strategy of building a strong education sector, and Shenzhen Polytechnic University has laid a solid foundation for the “going global” initiative of Chinese vocational education. He expressed the hope that with the support and guidance of CEAIE, Shenzhen Polytechnic University could undertake more international exchange projects and contribute to expanding Chinese vocational education overseas.
Liu Limin expressed his appreciation for the institution’s direction, educational model, and achievements, encouraging the school to align with national strategic needs, establish a vocational education brand and standards, and strengthen its international exchange and platform-building efforts.
The visit was attended by He Pei, Head of the CEAIE Cross-Border Education Quality Assurance Department; Liu Xiaomeng, Deputy Director of the Membership Services Department; and relevant leaders from Shenzhen Polytechnic University’s Quality Assurance Center and Office of International Exchange and Cooperation.
Founded in July 1981, the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) is overseen by the Ministry of Education and serves as a national organization for fostering foreign education exchange and collaboration in China’s educational sector. CEAIE operates 10 functional departments, four affiliated institutions, 16 branches, and maintains local associations across 31 regions, including provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities.
