Recently, the Department of Education of Guangdong Province announced the results of the 2024 Vocational College “Skills for Success, Building a Strong Nation with Me” Education Activities. Shenzhen Polytechnic University won 13 awards in this event. Among them, nine works received three first prizes, three second prizes, and three third prizes, respectively. Three teachers—Wang Jun, Ji Ke, and Liu Yanling—were awarded Outstanding Instructor titles, and the university was recognized with the Excellent Organization Award. With a total of 13 awards, Shenzhen Polytechnic University ranked first in the province.

The event was organized by the Department of Education of Guangdong Province. Shenzhen Polytechnic University highly valued and actively responded to this initiative. The university closely aligned its activities with the event’s theme, meticulously planning and organizing six major series of activities, including the “Future Craftsman” Reading Campaign, the “Model Workers and Craftsmen Entering Campuses” initiative, and the “Skills Inherit Excellent Traditional Chinese Culture” activities. These efforts guided students to deeply understand the essence of “Skills for Success, Building a Strong Nation with Me”, effectively enhancing students’ comprehensive quality and professional skills.

Moving forward, the university’s Party Committee Publicity Department will consolidate and further enhance the impact of the event through measures such as inviting award-winning authors for sharing sessions and broadcasting the winning works on official platforms. This will deepen the concepts of cultural education, practical education, and activity-based education, comprehensively promoting student development and nurturing more young individuals who are trusted by the Party, patriotic, dedicated, and capable of taking on the mission of national rejuvenation.
