From August 27 to 28, the Higher Vocational Group finals of the “Business Track” of the 2025 World Vocational College Skills Competition were held in Shaanxi. Our students Ou Tingyu, Guo Xuefen, Huang Zijia, and Qiu Zhijie from the School of Foreign Languages and Business, under the guidance of teachers Deng Lingzhao and Chen Hang, stood out at Shaanxi Polytechnic Institute with solid skills and excellent teamwork, winning the gold medal.
The team conducted in-depth research in cross-border e-commerce enterprises, identified industry pain points, and developed a digital-intelligence-driven cross-border e-commerce operation solution. By integrating AI into operations, they improved efficiency, fully demonstrating solid professional skills and innovative capabilities. Following the philosophy of “real projects, real posts, real scenarios”, the team of teachers and students completed the entire process—from framework design, multiple iterations, and function testing, to scenario-based applications. During preparation, team members tackled technical challenges one by one. For core functional needs, they proactively reviewed cutting-edge literature, benchmarked industry standards, and repeatedly verified solution pathways. Ultimately, they developed a replicable and scalable digital-intelligence-driven solution for cross-border e-commerce, showcasing our university’s achievements in cultivating highly skilled talent and advancing industry-education integration.
The World Vocational College Skills Competition, led by the Ministry of Education, is the highest-level and largest-scale international comprehensive skills competition for vocational institutions.
