On September 3, a delegation led by Li Canwei, deputy director of Nanshan District Public Security Sub-bureau visited the school. Yang Xinbin, secretary of the Party Committee and president of Shenzhen Polytechnic met the visitors.
Yang Xinbin first expressed his gratitude to Nanshan District Public Security Sub-bureau for its continuous support to the school's security work, and introduced the work in the new school semester, graduate employment, epidemic prevention and control, and student management. Whereafter, he said the school will continue to strengthen ideological and political education and popularize legal knowledge for students; completely support the work of public security organs to implement student management; consolidate the construction of intelligent and information-based safety system in the school; enhance the cooperation between public security organs and the school to co-build a safer environment.
Li Canwei highly appreciated the measures and results of Shenzhen Polytechnic in the safety management of teachers and students and the maintenance of public security on campus. He hoped that the school will remain efforts on key tasks such as anti-terrorism, stability and security maintenance, and key personnel management. He said that interactive cooperation between Shenzhen Polytechnic and corresponding departments of the Sub-bureau should be maintained, and in particular, the communication in student management should be strengthened, so as to ensure that safety management measures are put in place. Also, he gave valuable suggestions for the work of student management.
During the symposium, the two sides also conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on follow-up work such as student training, major setup, anti-fraud publicity, security for the 40thanniversary of the establishment of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, and handling of school-related sensitive police cases.
