From April 28 to 30, Shenzhen Polytechnic University celebrated its anniversary with the “Entrepreneurial Hall of Honor · Startup Showcase,” an event highlighting the school’s innovation and entrepreneurship achievements. The exhibition featured the accomplishments of 14 distinguished entrepreneurial alumni and 13 innovative projects, drawing significant interest from students, faculty, and alumni. On April 29, He Li, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, visited the exhibition and engaged with outstanding entrepreneurial alumni and faculty.

The event began with Chen Wenkai, head of the Student Entrepreneurship Park at the Industrial Center (Innovation and Entrepreneurship College), introducing the 14 Hall of Honor alumni and their projects. These projects span healthcare, intelligent manufacturing, information technology, and creative design, with their companies achieving annual revenues exceeding 50 million yuan, some reaching hundreds of millions. Among them, Ling Hao, a 2019 Marketing graduate from the Management College, leads Shenzhen Shixin Information Technology Co., Ltd., an eighth-batch incubated enterprise in the Entrepreneurship Park. Shixin specializes in servers, storage, networks, and cloud management platforms. After eight years of focused development, it has become a national high-tech enterprise and a Shenzhen Specialized and New Enterprise.

Alumni including Chen Gengjie, Liu Kaien, Luo Xianbo, Chen Shanbai, Zheng Zijie, and Nemo (from Türkiye) presented their projects, covering technology, healthcare, and education. Liu Kaien’s AI-based college entrance examination volunteer system analyzes historical admission data, college and major information, and candidates’ scores and interests to provide precise recommendations, helping students make informed decisions and reduce risks. Nemo’s GlassOuse mouse glasses and Finger Rehab Trainer demonstrate care for individuals with physical disabilities and those requiring hand rehabilitation, improving their quality of life through innovative technology with high practical value.

During the alumni symposium, He Li warmly welcomed the alumni and encouraged them to leverage their industry expertise to offer suggestions on market trends, industry developments, and employment opportunities. She urged them to strengthen ties with their alma mater to enhance the university’s programs and curriculum to meet the demands of the AI era, fostering collaborative growth.
