On April 14, a delegation of 35 members from Hong Kong School Leadership Course Alumni Association, comprising principals, teachers, parents and student representatives from some secondary schools in Hong Kong, paid a visit to SZPT. Yang Congkun, Deputy Director of Office of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Affairs, Yao Ping, a teacher, and Feng Xing, a project specialist,participated in the reception activities.

At the symposium, Office of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Affairs warmly welcomed the delegation, and introduced the basic information of SZPT, the cooperation and exchanges between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, and the separate enrollment of students from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. With the opportunity of the delegation’s visit, it is hoped to enable more teachers, students and parents from Hong Kong secondary schools to have a better understanding of our educational philosophy and faculty strength, and to attract more students from Hong Kong to study in our college and enrich their learning and life experience.

Dr. Xu Weitian, head of the delegation from Hong Kong School Leadership Course Alumni Association, expressed his gratitude to our college for the warm reception and spoke highly of our educational achievements. He expressed the hope that after the epidemic, SZPT would continue to deepen the education linkage between Shenzhen and Hong Kong,promote the understanding of mainland China in the Hong Kong education community, and make greater contributions to the integration of Hong Kong into the overall development of the country. He also wished our college greater success in the future.

In the following symposium session, the principals, teachers, parents and student representatives from Hong Kong secondary schools showed great interest in studying in our college. They had detailed consultation on the major choice, application requirements, accommodation environment and employment direction that they were most concerned about. Yao Ping gave detailed answers to all questions of the representatives.

After the symposium, the delegation of 35 members visited the School of Automotive and Transportation Engineering, the School of Artificial Intelligence, the School of Digital Creation and Animation, and the Training Center of the School of Medical Technology and Nursing.
