SZPT Party Secretary Yang Xinbin made a concluding speech at the experience exchange meeting
In his concluding speech, Yang Xinbin affirmed the excellent achievements made by Huang Kejing Class with Advanced Diploma in “Electrical Engineering” over the years, and expressed his gratitude to the teachers who worked hard for the program. He pointed out that the opening of Huang Kejing Class is a milestone in the history of Shenzhen-Hong Kong exchange and cooperation at SZPT. It is the continuous progress of this program that allows Hong Kong partners to see the brand value of our college, thus expanding the number of cooperative majors. It is hoped that the four newly opened majors can continue to learn from the successful experience and deepen cooperation to shine the brand of our college more brightly. Then, Yang Xinbin put forward several suggestions for the future development of the Shenzhen-Hong Kong talent joint training program. First, the schools and departments involved in the Shenzhen-Hong Kong talent joint training program are required to get up on the right side, run the newly opened major of Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation well with the attitude of learning, awe and rigorous style, and actively promote their own development and force reform; second, by standardizing the course content and review process, continuously improve ourselves and further narrow the gap between our college and Hong Kong in terms of the solidity and scientific validity of the course content; third, take the cooperation with Hong Kong as a bridgehead to promote the internationalization of our college and build a world-class vocational and technical university with Chinese characteristics, so that our curriculum standards and brand effect can be further recognized by the international community; fourth, it is suggested that experts from our college and Hong Kong should jointly set up a program steering committee to inherit and carry forward Huang Kejing Class’s years of experience with Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation in running schools, and absorb Hong Kong’s good methods to improve our own program management capability.
