On May 17,Regula Allmann- Jöhl, Dean of School of Business, University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) led a delegation of four members visited SZPT. Yang Congkun, Deputy Director of International Office, Zhang Ying, Deputy Dean of School of Foreign Languages and Business, and Lin Qi, Director of Financial Services and Management (Sino-Australian Cooperation) at School of Economics, held discussions with the delegation in Tongde Building.
On behalf of SZPT, Yang Congkun extended a warm welcome to the delegation led byRegula Allmann- Jöhl, and introduced the basic situation of SZPT, focusing on our international exchange and cooperation. Zhang Ying and Lin Qi introduced the relevant information of their school and major respectively.
Regula Allmann- Jöhl expressed sincere thanks forthe warm reception and introduced the relevant information of the university and the school of business, focusing on their exchange and cooperation with Chinese colleges and universities.
Afterward, the representatives of the two sides held specific discussions on Sino-foreign cooperation programs, international business cooperation, teacher-student exchange programs, etc., and reached the intention of further cooperation.
It is reported that University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland is the leading and most innovative university of applied sciences in Switzerland. The university fulfills the fourfold responsibilities of the Swiss Confederation and EDK: education and training, applied research and development, continuing education, and provision of services to third parties. The university has nine faculties covering applied psychology, architecture, civil engineering and geographic information, art and design, life sciences, music, teacher education, social work, engineering, and business. The modern campus is located in northwestern Switzerland,adjacent to the German and French borders, in proximity to the cities of Basel and Zurich and to national and international companies.
