On October 17, a delegation of three members led by Mr. Allan Yang, Chairman of Lan-Mekong China Education Training Promotion Alliance (LCETPA), visited our university. Yang Congkun, Deputy Director of International Office, warmly received the delegation in Tongde Building. The two sides held productive talks.

Yang Congkun first extended a warm welcome to the guests. Then he introduced SZPU’s basic situation, running characteristics, school-enterprise cooperation, overseas cooperation, “going global” measures, etc. Allan Yang expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and spoke highly of our educational level. He then introduced the current situation of vocational development in ASEAN countries and looked forward to practical cooperation with our university in the fields of artificial intelligence, electronic communication and information technology in the future. Afterwards, the two sides discussed the issues of jointly launching international forums, “going global” for professional standards, building overseas training centers and recruiting international students.

Lan-Mekong China Education Training Promotion Alliance, officially registered in Vientiane, capital of Laos, in 2018, is a core member of the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In the past few years, under the guidance of the Lao Ministry of Education and Sports and the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, international education cooperation between Laos and various provinces and cities in China has been widely carried out, covering Chongqing, Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Shandong, Shaanxi and other provinces and cities. Up to now, it has established cooperation with more than 100 schools in China and provided substantive international cooperation services to more than 30 schools, widely recognized in the industry and education circles, and also fully affirmed by the Lao Embassy in China and relevant government departments of other countries.
