From October 28 to 30, the Finals of the 2024 World Vocational Colleges Skills Competition (Higher Vocational Group) in the "Big Data Applications in Business, Finance, and Taxation" category under the Finance and Trade Track concluded successfully in Changsha, Hunan Province. Sixty-one teams representing vocational colleges from across the country, with a total of 244 participants, competed in this event. Under the guidance of instructors Sun Xiaoge and Liu Xinglin, students Zheng Maoxiang, Chen Tongyin, Zhou Jiayu, and Xiong Jiaming from the Big Data and Accounting program won the gold medal, securing first place nationwide and advancing to the ranking stage.
The "Big Data Applications in Business, Finance, and Taxation" event is a core component of the Finance and Trade Track in the 2024 World Vocational Colleges Skills Competition. This event focuses on practical, industry-related skills, testing participants’ abilities in business operations, resource allocation, financial and tax management, scenario planning, risk management, financial governance, data analysis, and RPA (Robotic Process Automation) applications. Competitors are evaluated on their comprehensive ability to integrate workflows, data flows, financial and tax flows, and knowledge flows.
