Recently, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education announced the results of the 9th Guangdong Higher Education Online Media Festival, where Shenzhen Polytechnic University (SZPT) achieved remarkable success with 18 entries winning awards. These included three First Prizes, five Second Prizes, and ten Third Prizes. The university also received the "Outstanding Organization Award".

This year’s festival, themed“Youth for the Nation, Strengthening the Country with My Efforts,” featured five categories:“Yueyi Vision” Visual Works Exhibition,“Yueyi Colors” Animation Works Exhibition,“Yueyi Culture” Online Literature Works Exhibition,“Yueyi Innovation” Creative Works Exhibition,“Yueyi Learning” Educational Works Exhibition. Each category included multiple sub-projects.

SZPT has positioned the festival as a key platform to summarize, promote, and showcase its achievements in online ideological and political education. The Publicity Department of the Party Committee, serving as the organizing unit, convened a campus-wide seminar as early as July to prepare for the festival. The seminar also covered topics like content submissions forLearning Power and the Guangdong Campus Photography Contest. Past award-winning works were shared, and areas for improvement in current submissions were identified, focusing on political alignment, content depth, communication impact, and structural coherence. This year, the university received 63 submissions from faculty and students. Following a rigorous evaluation process, 40 outstanding works were submitted to the provincial education department, resulting in the impressive tally of awards.

Looking ahead, the Publicity Department plans to implement a series of measures to inspire creativity and cultivate a vibrant production environment. These initiatives include inviting award-winning creators to share their experiences, showcasing winning works on official platforms, and continually identifying and nurturing original works of excellence. These efforts aim to enhance the supply of high-quality online cultural content, leveraging digital media to inspire minds, unite communities, and safeguard the online spiritual home of university students.
