In his speech, Xu Jianling briefly introduced the university, emphasizing its ongoing commitment to promoting reform and development in virtual simulation experiment teaching. He highlighted the challenges of high investment, high consumption, high risk, and the difficulties of implementation, observation, and replication in traditional vocational training, commonly referred to as the “three highs and three difficulties”. The committee is expected to focus on vocational education’s unique characteristics, setting standards for virtual simulation course construction, advancing the development of virtual simulation teaching resources, promoting innovation and restructuring of professional training courses, creating high-level faculty teams, and establishing a mechanism for resource sharing.
Wang Hongyu addressed the audience, presenting the current status and upcoming priorities of the Innovation Alliance, focusing on the arrangements and deployment of the current efforts. Xu Gang, Executive Secretary of the Higher Vocational Committee of the Alliance, detailed the management regulations of the committee. Experts and scholars also delivered special reports on topics such as “Exploration of Virtual Simulation Experiment Teaching and Systematic Construction” and “Development and Application of Virtual Simulation Technology”.
In the case sharing session, various alliance units shared developments in constructing virtual simulation bases. Xiao Zhengxing, Deputy Dean of the School of Artificial Intelligence at SZPU, discussed the construction base, ideas, achievements, and future prospects of the SZPU ICT training base under the themeof“Enhancing Quality and Empowering through Virtual Simulation, Cultivating Top-notch ICT Talents”, showcasing a wealth of original IP at the base.
During the conference, ten professional sub-committees organized seminars to discuss their future work and preparatory matters. Delegates also collectively visited the SZPU Intelligent ICT Virtual Simulation Training Base.
