Recently, the Ministry of Education of Thailand sent an official letter to Shenzhen Polytechnic University (SZPU) to express its heartfelt gratitude and high appreciation for the successful New Energy Vehicle (NEV) technology training program for vocational college instructors, organized by SZPU’s School of Automotive Engineering in June and September of this year. This training was part of a cooperation based on the established talent development plan between both sides, aimed at enhancing the teaching quality and international competitiveness of Thailand's vocational education system in the field of new energy vehicles.

In the letter, the Ministry of Education of Thailand specifically highlighted that the Thai experts and participants who attended the training gave the courses extremely high evaluations. They stated that the training content provided by SZPU was not only cutting-edge but also practical, covering the core knowledge and skills of NEV technology. Additionally, the flexible and diverse teaching methods, with a strong emphasis on the integration of theory and practice, greatly facilitated the professional growth of the participants. This training waswidely regarded as an important milestone in promoting vocational education cooperation between China and Thailand, as well as in strengthening talent development in Thailand’s NEV industry.

The Ministry of Education of Thailand further pointed out that this training program not only deepened the educational exchange and cooperation between China and Thailand but also injected strong momentum into the building of the teaching staff for NEV programs at Thai vocational colleges. It has profound significance for the development of Thailand’s NEV industry. Looking forward, Thailand hopes to deepen cooperation with Shenzhen Polytechnic and explore more opportunities for vocational education collaboration, with the goal of jointly cultivating more internationally-minded, high-quality skilled professionals.
