Award-winning team of teachers.
Award-winning student team.
On March 30, the China Finals of the 9th Huawei ICT Competition concluded at Southeast University. Shenzhen Polytechnic University’s School of Electronic and Communication Engineering delivered exceptional performances across multiple categories. Competing in the Programming Track (OpenHarmony IoT Application Development), Basic Software Track, and Cloud Track, SZPU student teams won First Prize (the highest award in the national finals, as no Grand Prize is awarded) and successfully advanced to the Global Finals. This year’s competition introduced a new category for teachers, and SZPU faculty also achieved remarkable results: Wu Lichun and Wang Kang earned the Grand Prize in the Teaching Case and ICT Academy Operations categories respectively. Liang Guangmin received the Outstanding Teaching Material Award. Several other entries won First, Second, and Third Prizes in the Teaching Case category.
In recent years, the School of Electronic and Communication Engineering has built a robust competition training framework by leveraging the Huawei ICT Academy platform. Through initiatives like the “Huawei Bai Ge Sales Elite Program” and joint training camps with industry partners, the school has integrated cutting-edge industry technologies into classroom teaching and competition preparation, resulting in continuous excellence from both faculty and students. The Global Finals will take place in Shenzhen from May 20 to 24, and SZPU’s student and teacher teams are gearing up to compete for higher honors.
